SOY CANDLES

TIPS FOR BURNING OUR SOY CANDLES

  • Soy candles burn longer and cooler than paraffin candles by 30-50%.

  • They're much easier to clean up, if spilled, clean with hot water and soapy water.

  • They are slow burning, so they gradually release their fragrances.

  • Soy is a plant, not a man made substance.

  • Our soy wax is a natural moisturizer. They burn at 102 degrees which allows you to use the melted wax as cuticle oil for your hands/feet, to soften dry spots and as a MASSAGE OIL

  • Soy is rich in Vitamin E, which helps in relief for skin conditions as eczema, cracked skin and psoriasis.

CANDLE BURN TIMES

Before lighting your soy candle, the wick should be trimmed back about 1/4" each time. Otherwise, the candle will smoke and burn too fast. Allow the candle to cool and harden before relighting. Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too high or the candle is flickering repeatedly. Let it cool and then trim back the wick 1/2" and it will burn better.

When there is approximately 1/4" of wax left on the bottom of your candle you should discontinue use and repurpose the jar.

Approximate burn times for our candles vary. This depends if you burn your candles in sessions that are appropriate for the candle size and allow for a full wax melt each burn. Please know, if you do not trim your wick before each burn, you will decrease your overall burn time.

 

Our 11oz. Glass Jars burn time estimation is approximately 45-50hrs.

SHIPPING

All orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday  from 8:00AM-3:00PM. Orders placed after 3:00PM will be processed the next business day.

We ship all items via USPS Priority Mail with tracking.

DAMAGES AND RETURNS

All orders are thoroughly inspected before they are packed and shipped in an effort to ensure your items arrive safely. We kindly ask that you inspect arrives safely. We kindly ask that you inspect your order upon receiving it. In the event that items are damaged during transit, we ask that you contact us within two business days. Please take a photo of your damaged package or goods and email us at pr@giftsfromavirgo.com, please include your name and order number. We will handle this expeditiously.

Returns are only accepted on products that are in new or unused condition. If you have a problem with your candle after you have begun burning, please contact us with details of the concerns. We will do our best to make everything just right.
